Adwords Keywords different bounce rates question

Hope someone can explain this cos my brain now hurts.

I am checking keyword bounce rates from adwords campaigns I am running and have come across this:-

There are 4 keywords I'm checking:

Each has 1 single click

Each has 1 session

Each has 1 page visit

3 have 0% bounce rate

1 has 100% bounce rate.

My question is, if 3 of the visits have a single page page visit should that then not show as !00% bounce rate as one of them does?

Cheers

Ray

Hi Raymond,

We (me and @Theo Bennett) recently explained the "bounce rate" definition in this topic:  https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Reports/Bounce-rate-official-definition-from-Google/td-p/5...

Hopefully, you'll find the answer if you read it through. Smiley Happy

Thanks Taavi

I read it through :-) - I do understand the definition of bounce rate but what I'm now understanding is that the different bounce rates for the same thing may be down to time spent on the page. This looks like being answer...I think :-)

Have you implemented event tracking on a specific landing page? That would be the reason as well.

Where did you get that information, from which report? Smiley Happy
