What are GA best practices for subfolders for language specific sites?

I have 4 views setup i.e. Main, /FR/, /EN/ and /NL, and have an event goal setup on the Main view, but this goal is the same for the other language specific sites (subfolders). Do I create a goal for each view? In other words, every time I have a common goal across the ENTIRE site, is it just a matter of copying and pasting that goal across the other views?

Hi Chris,

If you want to track the common goal in each view, then yes, you need to set it up for each view.
Let me know if you have questions.

I'd create a general, language-agnostic goal such as /FR|EN|NL/success.html and then language-specific goals.

And yes, it's just a matter of copying goals when you create new views, which you can do manually or using the API.
