Using measurement protocol to remove an ecommerce hit

Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of using the measurement protocol to remove unwanted transaction hits? I'm familiar with the other methods for achieving this, such as creating a duplicate but reverse transaction. In this case, balancing the revenue is not the aim but the entire removal of the transaction.

I'm interested to learn if this actually removes both the transaction id itself and reduces the overall total by one?

Thanks in advance.

You can't really "remove" a transaction ; you can only update them with negative amounts and quantities but you already knew that :-)
