Troubles with Event Tracking

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with event goal tracking in two ways:

  1. PDF downloads - I've setup 5 goals for downloads on a WordPress site. The code IS firing for all of them, but the goals are NOT recording in G.A. Have you encountered this before? What could be happening? Note: My developer said WordPress was automatically stripping out "onClick" commands, so he had to use a popular plug-in as a workaround. I'm unsure of that's the problem, but it may be related.
  2. Embedded YouTube video - I'm trying to measure plays and the increments of video plays (25%, 50%, etc.). I believe I've setup the goal correctly, but I think the iframe may be giving some trouble.  Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

First check on the site if events are being sent correctly.

Either with real time reports or below:

You can easily debug on the website with GA debugger:

You can check in chrome, console tab with 'Preserve log' turned ON.

Best Regards,
GA Guru.

'Star' or 'Accept as Solution' if it helped.
