Tracking offline Transactions using only GCLID

Hello,

Best regards.

I have some offline transaction data and I am willing to update them on my Google Analytics Account. But previously I never set the custom fields UID & CID. I only do have the GCLID.

Now my questions are -

1. Is there any way to update the data only through GCLID?

2. If not, can I get the UID or CID for previous data?

Any help is highly appreciable.

Sincerely,

Masud Moni

Hi,

gclid is reserved for Google AdWords. You cannot do anything with it.

To my understanding you should have CID and UID tracked before you can import data.

Here is some good reading (little old so be cautious about updates)
