Tracking OS devices

Is it possible to get info on the OS of the devices that access our website with google analytics?
We are trying to make a determination if our next revision of the website needs to be mobile friendly or if that’s not a factor. Knowing the OS and browser running on accessing devices would be really helpful for us.

Hi B M,

In almost all cases, the answer to that question is YES, your site should be mobile friendly. Responsive design is the way to go.

Two reports of interest for you, both in the Audience section:

Audience>>Mobile>>Devices - then select Operating System as your primary dimension.

You can also use the Broswer and OS report or pull browser as a "Secondary Dimension"
