Tracking Dynamic URL Goal Submissions

Probably a simpleton question...but I'm no Regex expert by any means...and there's been no conversions in the past 7 days for me to attempt to verify any solutions...so, in advance...I'm hoping a brighter mind can point me in the proper direction.

We use an external donation submission service, MoonClerk, and processed donations show up as pages such as:

  • /pay/5woy90ojggo#confirmation

  • /pay/76gbf37sty1#confirmation

So, if I wrote a Regex goal destination as:  /pay/.*confirmation

to account for all the dynamic string insertions would that potentially work for goal tracking?

Thanks in advance as always! T 8)

Colin, try this:

(.*)\/order\/(.*)?_ga=(.*)
