Track Goal Conversions Based on Events Happening on a Page

Hello All,

I have a information page with a video on it. On the video I have an event label "video play".

On a separate page there is a signup page with a congrats page after where there is a goal conversion tag.

I would like to compare the goal conversion rate on the signup page depending on whether someone activated the event label "video play" on the information page, or visited the information page, but did not click the event.

What would be the best way to do this?

Thank you in advance and much appreciated.

Hi Cliff,

the easiest way to do this is to create custom segments - one where the user had an event and the other where user did not have the event (additional conditions may be applied - page and similar).

By turning on both segments you can then compare results.

Kind regards,
