Sudden drop in page views (to zero) on two high traffic sales pages

Two weeks ago, on Dec. 4th, two of my top visited pages (product sales pages with paypal/ejunkie buttons) suddenly dropped to zero (0) page views. All other pages on my website are performing normally.

Even more alarming, sales from those pages have complete stopped. Any idea what's happening?

One item to note:

The day before the "crash", some new Ejunkie code was added to one of the pages (two extra products added), but I've personally tested the check-out sales process and everything seems to be working properly. I know for a fact people are visiting those pages (Impressions are showing up for those pages in Google Webmaster Tools), but everything has flat-lined in Analytics.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

Faith

P.s. I tried to attach a screen shot here but it's not being allowed giving error "invalid HTML".

Hi Faith,

Seems that the Analytics code was missing on those pages as discussed. Once you put it back in everything should be back to normal Smiley Happy

May I suggest you install the following extensions in Google chrome to help with picking up when your code is running or if it is in the wrong location:

Google Tag Assistant : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tag-assistant-by-google/kejbdjndbnbjgmefkgdddjlbokphdefk

Ghostery : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ghostery/mlomiejdfkolichcflejclcbmpeaniij

Thank you Bryan. You were exactly right that the analytics code was missing on those pages. The code has now been added back in and everything's back to normal. Whew!

You also correctly pointed out that the navigation links were missing on the two pages which may have contributed to a drop in sales. (The share buttons were also missing which have also been re-added).

Your advice and help was spot on and you solved my problem within, like, 12-seconds!!!!

The two extensions have already been added which will hopefully help out with future issues.

Thanks again Bryan. Amazing support and help!!!
