Set up a goal

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up a goal for lead forms

In the 1st step I have chosen the custom template and the destination type

In the destination url I have chosen the regular expression and I have put the thank you page url excluding the domain name. The thank you page's url is ending to "?successForm=" . After "=" there is always a different number for every new successfully complete lead form.

Besides, I have put the "funnel" button on "on" and in the step 1 I have put the url of the page in which lead form is included.

However, none conversion has been recorded although I know that there are a lot in reality

Probably a different set up has to be applied

Could you help me?

Thank you in advance

Persa

Hi,

Can you post a screenshot of the goal settings page?

You can try it here: http://regexstorm.net/tester

You should probably try something like this: "/path\?successForm=.*" (you have to escape RegExp modifiers like "?"). Or if you are 100% sure the "successForm=" part is always followed by numbers, then this one is more restrictive: "/path\?successForm=[0-9]+".

Hi,

You can put only successForm= into the field, or if you need to include the path you need to escape the question mark like:

/path/\?successForm=

Let me know if it works.
