Hi,

I got a web base game adventure website and I sell virtual points to players. They buy using PayPal. I use a standard php ipn file for each transactions to give the player points they just bought on successful transactions.

so:

no shipment,

i sell only points,

3 possible values 1.00, 5.00 or 10.00

How can I track the value of each transaction in analytics?

Thanks

One option: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032415?hl=en#goal_configuration_options

Event goal , and pass your points as goal value to events.

Hey Pablo,

I'd recommend that you consider setting up E-Commerce tracking with your app and then maybe classify the different transactions types according to the 3 values. That way you can keep track of both money received as well as the points.

Hope this helps!

Can I get a sample code of what it shoud be like please.

"1.00", "5.00" or "10.00" are the amount of the transaction paid by the player returned by PayPal.

Paypal also return the ID (number) of that player.

Thanks
