Segmenting by goal - time on site

I would like to create a segment of users who spent more than 30 seconds on my website.

I have created this goal - duration greater than 30 seconds. I have named it (time > 30s)

Is it possible to create a segment from this goal? I want to analyse traffic from users who spent over 30 seconds on my website.

My process so far.

1. conditions -  users include (time > 30s) per session > 0

I am not sure if this is correct.

Should I filter by sessions or users?

Should I use per hit, per session or per user?

What combinations of the above would work and what would the difference be between them.

Hi Jonathon,

If you want users, then use users.  This will give you the sessions in which they spent more than 30 seconds and other sessions in which they did not (if any).

I would create the segment based upon goal completions, that is, goal 1 completion, etc.
