Re-running e-comerce conversion reports for past months showing different data

We just discovered two interesting things

  1. When we run our e-commerce conversion report for past months we see different conversion rates.  As an example, we fan it for Feb on March 1st. and again on April 1st.  We are seeing different conversion rates for Feb when running on March 1st and April 1st.  As much as a few hundred basis points.
  2. Two people running our e-commerce conversion report on March 1st for Feb 1st are seeing different conversion rates.

Both people are using the exact same report, etc, should there should be no issues with a filter or other ancillary items impacting the data.

What could be causing this and is this normal/expected?  I don't ever recall running into this in other companies/analytics setups prior to this.
