Property sets instead of cross-domain tracking?

I'm working on a site for a customer. They have a tour booking system delivered by a third party, residing on a separate server. I'm interested in capturing sales statistics in GA, and was thinking that cross-domain tracking would be the solution.

With the introduction of property sets, would that instead be the better way to do it? The store can be a separate property, and I could just gather them into a set. Would I be able to track sales this way?

Hi Jørn,

I would suggest collecting all the data to a single property as this will allow full channel attribution and content performance measurement ability.

In that case cross domain tracking would be needed.

Kind regards,
