Overestimated E-commerce Transaction In GA

Hi All,

Got a bit of an issue.

Our e-commerce site has its own CMS and logs sales. When comparing this against GA we seem to have overestimated the number of transactions in GA than the logged CMS.

I have carried out spot checks in GA and the CMS logs and this is quite sporadic, but we have noticed a big increase in the last 3 days.

I would normally expect to see GA show fewer transactions than the CMS, not the other way round.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers for your help.

Do a report by transaction ID and compare the details -- that is the only way to get to the bottom of the differences.
