Only Showing Direct Traffic with Third Party Shopping Cart[ Edited ]

I set up Google Analytics eCommerce tracking and I'm having an issue that is shows all sales from "direct/none". I'm using CVENT as the shopping cart and installed the tacking code there. The code is also installed on our website. Most of the traffic is generated from email traffic and we use Mail Chimp (GA code is installed there as well). I fairly confident most revenue should be generated from the emails, why is it only showing direct? Does is have something to do with session time after the email is clicked? Because its generally at least an hour between the email and purchase (due to the high price). Or is this an issue with the shopping cart? Would using the URL builder in the emails help at all?
