Good morning,

I have a doubt about tag manager.

I have to monitor the click event of the "pay" button into a form page, related to different premium services options. ( drop-down menù )
What i don't understand is how to work in order Google Analytics, will show me after a click event

on "pay" button, the premium service option selected by the user.

I need this because i've to pay some collaborators with a certain one % of the service purchased from  users,

so i need to know when an user purchase a premium service option, which one among these selected.

Examples: 1)Premium service 2,00€  -> event click = Google analytics show me the service purchased with the click event set on "pay" button.
                  2)Premium service 4,00€  -> event click = Google analytics show me the service purchased with the click event set on "pay" button.

All these services have the unique "pay" button, that means the "pay" button is the same for all the premiums services options.

I hope i was clear,

Thank you in advance,

Piero.

Yes if you set up a listener to GTM that listens the Pay button.

However I think it is safer if you add the dataLayer push directly to your front end

When user presses the Pay button you need to collect the option

Option 1)

On button press push the information to dataLayer

dataLayer.push({'event':'pay';'subscription'Smiley SurprisedptionValue});

Then in GTM create dataLayer variable subscription

create trigger pay: custom event equals pay

event tag

Category: Payments

Action: Pay

Label: {{subscription}}

Value: subscription value if you wish
