Missing some Paypal Express transactions

Hi

I am having an issue with Paypal express, not all orders are being tracked in GA.  So far I have added paypal.com to referral exclusion and

enabled "auto return" and PDT in my paypal account.  I get about 90% of transactions but seem to still be missing 1-2 per day.  I am assuming that this could be being caused by the user closing the paypal window before they are directed back to our site.

Is there anyway of pushing the data back to Google from Paypal without them returning to the site?

Thanks

Hey Robert,

There is a way.  Which way would require more insight.  But you can use the measurement protocol to construct Transaction hits.  For this to work properly and tie back to the original source, you'll also need to be able to pass the client id in some form to paypal so that you can use it in the MP hit later.

Take a look at the hit builder to become more familiar with MP:

You need to set PayPal auto return. Details here: http://rocinantesoftware.blogspot.com.es/2015/11/paypal-auto-return-with-prestashop.html, among other places.

Hey Ed,

He's already set auto return.

Cheers,
