Missing checkout step in Checkout behaviour

In my Checkout behaviour report I'm missing step 5. I called it Receipt.

Previous steps are showing correctly.

What am I doing wrong?

Code (related to checkout) I'm running is this

ga("ec:addProduct", {
"id": "36557",
"name": "CROSSLITE Q",
"price": "49.09",
"brand": "Hummel",
"category": "Muški/Patike",
"position": 0,
"quantity": 1
});
ga("ec:setAction", "checkout", {"step": 5 });
ga("ec:setAction", "purchase", {
"id": "9384761",
"revenue": 49.09
});
ga('send', 'pageview');

Hi Vladimir,

You are setting setAction to purchase before you sent checkout step 5 with a hit.
I don't think that you need step 5 in your setup, basically purchase will be the last step of the checkout funnel. If you want to send it anyway, you can send it with an event before the addProduct command and it will collect the data.

I'm unable to see your screenshot, I'm getting redirected to awesomescreenshot homepage.

Let me know if you have questions.

I believe you're right so I'll just loose step 5. It's the same (review order) page anyway. Thanks.

Missing checkout step in Checkout behaviour

Hi,

I currently face a very similar issue.

The setup was done with GTM and coded dataLayer in the website, but I somehow do not see any data in a couple of checkout steps I definied: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2039990/cd949bb9789fe1f970a8129f0dae36eb

The data I see comes from physical pages, but there are three steps in between which I call non-physical, because they are triggered on the page of the step before, but only for selected products/orders.

For instance, if the client orders to many pieces and we are not able to deliver all at once an option field is shown on the shipping address page and the client chooses to wait for the whole order to be ready for shipping or to get it in two steps, but immediately.

All three steps have default values and are called when using the GTM debugger (see: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2040019/35707c958545a0aef383c82c94aee53c), but I still cannot see any data in Google Analytics. Do I need to define every single step within the main checkout dataLayer as well and how can this be pushed (more than one step on a page)?

I am looking forward for your help and appreciate every hint.

Best Regards,

Manuel
