Missing Reverse ecommerce Transaction Hit´
Due to a currency bug which happened after an IT release we had a very high, wrong revenue in Google Analytics. To reverse the wrong transactions we sended reverse transaction-hits via measurement protocol to Google Analytics.
We send all hits in March and everything was fine for the day. The hit with the highest revenue of - 5 million can’t be found in Google Analytics anymore.
Is it possible that Google ‚rollback‘ conspicous transactions due to fraud-detection?
I’ve checked if the hit was exceeding 8KB but this wasn’t the case either.
We needed to push all reverse transactions within march so we could guarantee a valid month over month and year over year report. If we send this transaction again we would affect another month.
Can someone think about a case like that?
