LinkedIn campaigns - goal tracking for sign up using LinkedIn profile

I am running advertising campaigns on LinkedIn and my website allows sign up using email account OR authorising a LinkedIn user account to complete registration. I have added the utm parameters on the target URLs of the ad all set to capture goals on Google Analytics as linkedin/cpc. Here is the issue I am facing. If a user clicks on the LinkedIn ad and signs up using their LinkedIn account, google analytics captures it as a linkedin/referral and not a linkedin/cpc goal. That combines the number of organic users as well as the ones acquired using LinkedIn ads. Is there a way to ensure I can explicitly capture the number of sign ups through a LinkedIn ad where he/she authorises their LinkedIn account for the website?

Hi Yati,

one of the ways is to override the referral information once the user returns to the site from auth. In GA this can be done by:
1. Setting the Document referrer to some self page https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/field-reference#referrer
