Hello,

we started using enhanced ecommerce recently (May 11) and since then we have ~15% of traffic with a landing page (not set).

We are setting page views with GTM.

What are the settings that are wrong?

Hi Bert,

If you see (not set) as Landing Page, this means there was no pageview hit in the user's session. You should check if there is an issue that blocks the pageview hit and you just sent events or commerce hits.

Also, this might happen due to midnight session cut-offs, please check your time-zone settings if you made a change.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Güney

We have not changed the time-zone.

What is the best way to check if there is an issue with the pageview hit?

You can enable the preview mode of GTM and check which tags are being fired or you can use Google Analytics Debugger chrome extension or Google Tag Assistant.

Alternatively, you can turn on your browser's developer tools (Ctrl + shift + i) select 'Network' tab and look for the requests that starts with 'collect'.
