Intermediate funnel steps

Hi there!

Quick question about funnels.

I've set up a few separate funnels to track different user journeys to the same signup goal url. However I'm unsure if GA creates counts on both funnels if the user journey jumps between the two paths.

Let's call two journeys A > X, and B > X.

If a user makes the journey A > B > X will it appear as a count in both funnels or only B? I know that GA can skip middle funnel steps (e.g. I > II  > X would also count I > X) and doesn't mind the users ordering through funnel steps, but how does it deal with non defined pages in the path.

Many thanks

Hi Joseph,

Both funnels if you didn't require any first steps in funnel definition.
