How to setup Goal steps for URLs without a filename?

Hi analytical people Smiley Very Happy

Our Google AdWords landing page URL is something like the following:

http://www.example.com/campaign/foo/bar/

This is a standalone landing page with an enquiry form not connected to the main website since this is a lead gen campaign (for a hotel client). Now, I'm trying to setup Goal conversion for this landing page in Google Analytics. I think we ought to track form submissions and maybe check if they scrolled the page to read more info. Now, in Google AdWords, we track form submissions by placing the Google AdWords conversion tracking code on the 'Thank You' page after form submission.

I tried setting up a Goal in Google Analytics by setting the Thank You page as the final Goal conversion URL. The Thank You URL has a filename ---> http://www.example.com/campaign/foo/bar/thank-you.php. However, the landing page does not have something like http://www.example.com/campaign/foo/bar/index.php

The conversion steps I believe could be like:-

1. Clicked on Google ad

2. Visited landing page

3. Scrolled the page

4. Clicked on Submit button

5. Reached Thank You page.

How do I set this up?

The way I have set it up, it's not working. I have set it up as below:-

1. Visited landing page (http://www.example.com/campaigns/foo/)

2. Reached Thank You page. (http://www.example.com/campaigns/foo/thank-you.php)

This not getting tracked...

Hi,

Did you set up the pages in the goal settings like:

/campaigns/foo/
and
/campaigns/foo/thank-you.php

Let me know if the above works.
