Hi,

Unfortunately, you cannot remove the historical data but you can use advanced segments in order to segment out all the (not set) data. It doesn't remove it permanently or block it.

How to use this kind of advanced segment?

If you want to remove users with (not set) permanently, you can use a simple filter to exclude locations you don't want to see. You should do it in the test view first and please make sure you leave one view unfiltered. Smiley Happy

How to use this kind of view filter? (you cannot get this data back if you don't have a raw data view)

  1. You can read more about segments here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3123906?hl=en&ref_topic=3123779
  2. You can read more about view filters here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033162?hl=en

Hope this helps.

either through segments in reports.

or

create a filter for future data at view level to remove it.
