How do I measure traffic from redirects?

Hi all- I've created a couple of custom links for use in offline marketing on my website. They are:

techsplosion.org/tech

techsplosion.org/craftcamp

--Those each redirect to pages with more information on the appropriate programs. I'm using the Quick Redirects plugin for WordPress to generate those redirects. How can I track how many users enter the site via each of those links?

Thank you!

Maybe you have some misspell in some links?
Make sure that after redirection you can see proper UTM parameters in address bar.
Go to Acquisition > All Traffic > Source/Medium report. Maybe there you can find some traffic from your test links.

You can use UTM parameters in urls.
Here is a link to URL builder:

Will this still work if I have a custom short URL redirecting to the UTM link?

If your URL: techsplosion.org/tech
is redirecting to: techsplosion.org/some-category/some-page,1234.html?utm_source=...
and redirection is server side then everything should works fine.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. Here's what I've got:

I've set http://techsplosion.org/minecraft to redirect to: http://www.techsplosion.org/minecraft-camp-descriptions/?utm_source=CraftCamp&utm_medium=2016%20Craf...

Now when I visit http://techsplosion.org/minecraft the UTM link does appear as above, however when I go to my real time traffic in Analytics, it appears that my session is not associated with a campaign. I note that the UTM link generated by my recent Mailchimp campaign seems to be working as expected. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm using the Quick Redirect plugin for WordPress available here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/

Ok, this is weird....
Check Acquisition > Campaigns > All Campaigns report for today.

When you open this link "http://www.techsplosion.org/minecraft-camp-descriptions/?utm_source=CraftCamp&utm_medium=2016%20Craf... directly in browser can you see proper source/medium?

After clicking that link in an incognito Chrome window then visiting Acquisition > Campaigns > All Campaigns this is what I see.

Ok- that did help! I can now see 3 sessions today originating from Source/Medium CraftCamp / 2016 CraftCamp Postcard.

So now my questions are these:

-How can I create a distinct session to test all of my links? Will closing, then opening a new incognito window do it?

-How quickly should each session appear in those statistics? I just tried closing/opening incognito and visiting http://www.techsplosion.org/techsplosion-camp-descriptions/?utm_source=Techsplosion&utm_medium=2016%... but after waiting 5 minutes, I'm still not seeing a session appear under Techsplosion / 2016 CraftCamp Postcard

Thank you so much for your assistance!
