Google Tag Manager to fire a tag for a specific button in an iframe

I am trying find out how many people regsister for our events after a sales emailer. Now the standard is to set up a Goal that has the landing page of 'thank oyu for regsotering', but we are using an iframe, which has the same link all the time, so it will not work.

Can I set up a tag on Tag Manager that only fires when the 'complete registration' button is hit in that iframe? Still the same that the link would stay constantly the same. If possible, how?

Kind regards and many thanks,
