Hello!

We need to increase the goal limit per view in analytics. We need to have the ability to have more than 20 goals in a view. How do we go about this?

Thanks!

Hi Marisa,

There is no way to increase Goal limits per view that is 20. Google says "

  • Goals are limited to 20 per reporting view. To track more than 20 goals, create an additional view for that property, or edit an existing goal you don't need anymore."

except above there is no way.

Thanks

The best way to track almost any number of goals is through event tracking, an event can also be used as a goal.

Agree with the events comment - use the Google Analytics API in the google sheets and then you can export your data and specify events as 'goals'. Remember that uniqueEvents is the proxy for a goal as goals normally only trigger once per session, whereas events can be triggered multiple times.
