I have a goal set up where the goal value is TURNED OFF. However, there is a goal value displaying in the conversions.

Why is it displaying a $ amount with goal value turned off?

Goal value can be added at the event level. E.g.

  • Goal Category
  • Goal Action
  • Goal Label
  • Goal Value

The setting you are looking at in the interface allows you to override that value passed with a value of your own. If you have that setting off in the interface, Google Analytics will sum the value passed to it in the event. Are you sure that there is no value passed to it in the event code on your site?
