Goal tracking from HTTPS to HTTP
We are trying to implement goal tracking on a bookings website.
Entry is from Facebook, the user then selects times, dates and details (all HTTPS and trackable)
the user makes payment via credit card (HTTPS and trackable)
the user is then directed to a "thank you" page (HTTP)
Things we have tested and confirmed:
GA tag fires on all pages
The user ID stays the same so cross domain is not the issue.
URLS are correct
Each step while in the HTTPS is trackable both in real time and through using that specific page as a goal.
In HTTP/thank you page the user is traceable only in real time i.e. no goal fires.
without this goal we cant quantify conversions. Does anyone have any input on this?
