Hello everyone,

I am new to the Analytics community and I would appreciate a bit of help with setting up the goals destination url for a Japanese site http://www.lingo24.com/jp/ the destination url we want to catch is : https://www.lingo24.com/jp/お問い合わせ/お問い合わせ-ありがとうございました/ This is the contact thank you goal and it does not seem to work with this type of url. Can you please advise if I should take anything else into consideration? Kind regards Razvan

Hello Razvan,

you can navigate to your all pages report and search how the link is recorded within google analytics
Behavior >> Site Content >> All Pages and that use that link to set destination goal. Make sure to user page path only and not complete destination url as google analytics record destination goal conversion on page path only.

if my answer helped you let me know by giving a star Smiley Happy

Hello Noman.

Thank you for the reply, the star is implied Smiley Happy . Bellow are screenshots of what I see in the Behavior >> Site Content >> All Pages and my question is : "should I use the Japanese URL in the goal destination?" (screenshot2) I have tried this and did not record anything in previous tests.

Hello Razvan,

sorry for the late reply because of the weekend

Goal seems to be setup correctly. Try making changes to you goal like setting it up on begin with or regex and click on verify goal button(should have at least one pageview for this feature to work) to see if the required setup works http://take.ms/pfAp3.

Also you can make test conversion and see the data in real time report to see if goal actually work, within Reporting tab goto Real-Time >> Conversions
