Event tracking in multiregional site

Hi,

I have a e-commerce: endado.com that actually is juste selling in Spain. Next week we open Porgual (endado.com/pt) and I'm confusing about event tracking.

I already have created a new view for Portugal, and I have excluded trafic to "/pt" pages in view of Spain. The Portugal view just include /pt traffic.

This seems ok for pages view tracking, but not for events.

Same for Enhaced ecommerce, do I create new labels for Portugal check out?

Which are best practices? Do I duplicate events for Portugal?

I'm using Google Tag Manager.

Thanks!

Val

How do you send your events now in GTM?

If you have the transaction data in dataLayer in Portugal check out you should only set the collection tag to fire in PT thank you page also.

Hi Antti,

I send some events with datalayer, others I have configured them directly in GTM.

Regards,

Val

Does your tag firing rules fire the tag on PT side?

Can you see it when you set your GTM to preview?

I want to be sure that the data is sent to GA before we start poking around the reporting settings...
