Event or success page tracking on popup

Hi Guys,

We have a landing page where you can get a positive and a negative success popup after submitting your data..

We cannot make separate thank you pages like /no-thank-you.html or /yes-thank-you.html, we get this on popups.

We should measure both messages.

What do you offer, which is the best solution? Do you use a working solution? Please share with me!

Thanks,

Tamas

you can report a virtual page whenever showing each of these popups:
e.g.
ga('send', 'pageview', '/vps/somepath/yes-thank-you.html,');
and
ga('send', 'pageview', '/vps/somepath/no-thank-you.html,');

by reporting these whenever each popups is is launched you can track their activity.

Hi Oren,

Yes, it's a perfect solution. I also tought about it. But do you have any other good method?

You could also use events, particularly if the pop ups are in the middle of a sales funnel and they are just a microconversion leading to a macroconversion later on.
