Event Goal Completion Location Showing on Page Event isn't On

Hello,

For one of my goals, I am seeing multiple pages show up for the goal completion location, however, this goal code is only on one page on our site.

What would the reason that this would be showing up on multiple goal request URIs, and how can this be alleviated, as it's messing with my goal conversion numbers?

Thanks!

Can you tell me what set-up you did with your Goal?

What are the sample URLs of the multiple pages that you've mentioned?
and also what is the URL of that one page that you're tracking for the Goal?

Hi Sikoursky,

I set up the goal to be on a submit button on our member application. The
code is:

value="Continue" *onclick="ga('send', 'event', 'Membership Form Submit',
'click', 'Membership Form Submit')*; return validate(this);"
id="MainContentPlaceholder_C003_btnSubmit">

The event goal in GA matches this criteria.

The only page this code is on is:
http://www.nysscpa.org/membership/become-a-member/membership-application

But in GA, I'm seeing it appear on these pages:

/membership/become-a-member/dues-information
(entrance)
/about/about-nysscpa/governance/board-of-directors/bod-documents/bylaws
/login/forgot-password

Thanks so much!

Hi Brian,

How are you checking the reports in GA to be able to see the pages that you've mentioned? and also can you show me the details of how you had set up the Goal in the View?
