Hi,

We have installed analytics - tracking for our Ecommerce wesbite.

It is tracking the transactions accurately. It randomly works.

What would be cause for its inconsistency? Any other fix needed?

Kindly help.

Hi there,

How do you know that it's randomly working? Are you running tests that sometimes show a transaction ID that matches the one in your test and sometimes there's no matching ID?

It tracked our sales for 2 days. And all of sudden, it didn't track for
next 2 days.
And after that, it started tracking.

We didn't make any changes in tracking mechanism and technical
functionality.

Hi,

What are you using to confirm that you should have had sales in those two days?

Hi,

We received our sales order in our CMS tool.
When tracking works fine, the sales order being recorded in CMS tool matches exactly with Google analytics e-commerce tracking mechanism. Sometimes it didn't. What could be the issue and the fix for that issue?

Hi,

I suggest running purchase tests based on the products and even currency (if unusual) that aren’t appearing in analytics but are appearing in your CMS.

That way we can isolate if this is an issue with those products or not, since each transaction required only a transaction ID and product name (associated with the ID) to be recorded, so perhaps there’s a problem with recording those particular names.
