E-commerce data missing for an entire category?

I've just had a look at our e-commerce data, and there are no sales showing of products in one of our categories.

All the other product sales are there? I don't know why it is omitting this info?

Please help! We use EKM for our shop.

Hi,

I would suggest you to install the Google Tag Assistant Chrome extension, do a test purchase from that category and record the checkout process with Tag Assistant. You can find out what is happening only by testing.

Please check the documents below about Tag Assistant:

Hope this helps, let me know if you have questions.

E-commerce data missing for an entire category?

Hi Arnold

I installed the Tag Assistant and did a few test purchases.

The first test I forgot to save! But I purchased an item that has been tracking fine, and an item from the category that isn't tracking. In the report it seemed to show the data OK in the conversion section (the total amount anyway).

But it never appeared on GA.

So, for the tests I have saved data for.

1. I purchased 2 items of an item that tracks. All looks OK in the report. Transaction data showed successfully in GA.

2. As with the unsaved test, I purchased an item that tracks OK on its own, and an item from the "dodgy" category. In the report there is no data showing in the conversion section! And as expected, no transaction data in GA. I have found that if a purchase contains an item from this "dodgy" category the transactions don't track, no GA data - even if the transaction contains other items.

I can upload the tag recordings if that would be of any use?

I have no idea what is going wrong!

Many thanks

Gemma
