Drupal - Tracking Button/Widget Clicks part 2
Sorry, I have another question in response to a previous thread in which it was "solved."
Is there a way to track a button/widget on a website that links to another domain (outbound links)? For example, I have a Reviews widget on my website that links to that 3rd party Review website; is there a way to track how the amount of clicks? If the widget/button (which links to the same review site) is on every page of my website, should the code be added to each page header of every webpage of my website? Our developer uses Drupal for our website (https://www.gonavis.com/). I'm not sure if the coding for Drupal is any different from other CMS's
Answer to previous post:
You have the tracking code on all pages which is fine. For tracking outbound links please check this document:https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1136920?hl=en
Let's say I have the same widget with the same outbound on every webpage that contains "GA1041" in the URL. Is there a way to scale it back to just one Event? So, rather than creating an Event code for every page containing "GA1041" in the URL, can we create just one Event code to gather all outbound clicks?

You can fire the same event on every page, that is not a problem. You may want to look into the autotrack plugin, it has a feature that tracks outbound clicks as events automatically.
Let me know if you have questions.
