Do URL goals need to display for a minimum duration to be counted?

Goals on my website are not being recorded.

Once the action on the page has been completed, the URL flashes to have either ?c=applied or ?c=success at the end but this is very quickly removed.

Is there a minimum amount of time the suffix needs to display on the URL for Analytics to record this?

Thanks for your help.

The analytics tracking code needs to download the analytics.js library and to send the hit to GA. If the page is unloaded too quickly, the code has no chance to execute and it cannot send the hit. You need to give the code enough time to fire. Hope this helps.
