Destination Goal not being tracked

Hi,

I'm having issues setting up Goal tracking.

I've checked my store and the confirmation page contains the URL "/checkout/order-received/"

I setup my Goal using Destination Equals to: /checkout/order-received/

Value is off, and I turned the Funnel on with some other steps (1st home is Homepage and is set as Required) - but I don't think this would affect the lack of goals being tracked.

There has been many visits to pages containing "/checkout/order-received/" so I'm unsure why no goals are being tracked.

Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Hi,

Yes, equals means that the URL should exactly match "/checkout/order-received/".
Choosing either regex or begins with should work if the end of the URL is different for each order.

Hi Matt,

Is it a Wordpress - Woocommerce site?

Please set your destination goal as "Begins with" and "/checkout/order-received/"

Click the "Verify" link at the bottom and make sure you get a value greater than 0%. (you need to have sales in the last 7 days for this to work)

Hope this helps.

HI Arnold,

Thanks for your reply.
I had a look at another post on this forum and someone suggested doing it like so:
.*/checkout/order-received/* (and choosing Reg ex) which generates a goal (when verifying) of more than 0% so I think it should be working okay.

Any idea why it wasn't working - does Equal to mean the URL must Equal "/checkout/order-received/" so /checkout/order-received/xyz URL wouldn't generate a goal?

Thanks
