I created a custom URL with the GA builder tool (https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/) to track acquisitions from a campaign we're running on Instagram.
1) Are there any other implementation steps that need to be taken outside of adding the generated campaign URL to the account's bio?
2) Performance can be found in our GA account under Acquisition > Campaigns, correct?

There are no extra steps, just add the tagged URL to the medium you want to track visits from.
That's correct, you can find the reports under Acquisition > Campaigns.
