Custom Dimension for Goal Type performance, it is the correct way?

Hi everyone!

I want to know the performance of each type of goals for different cases (examples: time, country, channel, campaigns, etc.), but there isn't a Dimension related to "Goal type" in order to do that.

I think the best way is create a customized dimension which group the info this way (goal type).

It is the correct way?

Thanks!

Hi,

did not quite get what you were after... Can you clarify the Goal type?

Do you want to group multiple goals?

Hi

Yes, i want to group multiple goals, in order to do reports (Analytics or Data Studio) with this dimension. For example a typical pie chart for goal type in a specific country.

I think the type of goals is not important (they are different destinations & events goals).

Thanks!

Bit unsure still what you are after but:

Do an advanced segment where condition is goal1 completions > 0 AND goal3 completions > 0 for example. Replace AND with OR if you are happy when user completes at least one goal in that group.

Using advanced segment you have all the basic reports at your disposal.
