Conversion Tracking form submission

Willing to post ads on Twitter, Facebook & Linked in at the same time. So from there when people visits my website they will see a registration form. Now is it possible to track whether the person is from Linkedin or Twitter or Facebook once he hits the submit button.

Hi Vikram,

In Reporting under Conversions > Goals > Overview you're able to see Goals by Source/Medium. This should have the data you're looking for. You can even set the Goal Option (near the top left under +Add Segment) so that you're only reviewing one Goal at a time.

Hope this helps!
JD

Hi Vikram,

Sorry to hear that. There are 2 possibilities for why you're not seeing that data:

1. There have not been conversions from those sources
2. What shows here is a condensed version of the info. You can click on "view full report" which will take you to Acquisition > All Traffic > Source/ Medium. From there you can modify the Conversions drop down to reflect which goal you are interested in.

All the best,
JD

Hi
Do you use the campaign parameters? If you want to be sure to track your acquired traffic you should use it: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=de

You can simply provide the urls with parameters directly in facebook, twitter and linkedin. With these you can analyze the users from each source easily and figure out if they simply dont send the form or if there is a problem.

Best,
alex
