Hi all, thanks in advance. I have a question about how to properly track Goal signups on this website.

Example:

  1. Domain.com Click Signup

  2. Signup Page: sub.domain.com/signup

Fill out form to receive registration/verification email.

  1. Email: Click on confirmation link. Takes you to a form: sub.domain.com/signup?code=12345678910 (Code is different every time)

You put confirmation code and other user information. Click Register.

  1. End up back on Domain.com

Hi Hector,

on which signup you want to track a goal conversion? There are three steps of signups, first is when a user submits a form, second when a user opens confirmation link and the last when he registers.

Goals can be tracked by two ways, either by destination url or setting up events on successful signups.
