Click Trackers not showing outside of Tag Manager Preview Mode
I recently set up click listeners for a client and everything appears to work correctly. When I view the website under Tag Manager's Preview Mode and test the click listeners, the appropriate tags fire. I then check the events under Real-Time in the Analytics account and the listeners show up just like they should under Events. However, when I go directly to the website in another browser (no Tag Manager Preview Mode showing) and click on the buttons I have set up with click listeners, they don't show up as events under Analytics' Real-Time at all. I don't know why they work in preview mode, but when in the "real world", nothing happens? I'm sure I'm missing some key element - compared to everyone on these community boards, I'm an amateur at all of this.
I used the following video to talk me through click listener set-up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaJ9HHvKeL8&feature=iv&src_vid=YUKB-1Ay5lY&annotation_id=annotation_...
Please note: I do not have the power to place any code on the client's website - I'm a third-party company working on a campaign for them.
Thank you so much!

That's not easy to assess from an external view ... Did you publish the GTN container? Do you see any such events in live mode?
You may try Google Tag Assistant Recordings to check what's going on in your case.
