Can't 'insert' a Measurement Protocol hit into user's session data coming from mobile
problem: we have a mobile game, and use Unity's official GA's plugin for all our tracking.
However, due to constant client hacking by ou players to get 'gems' (works only locally, at the next server sync, client is reset with normal gem count), we want to report purchases (e-commerce) from the server using Measurement Protocol.
Our problem is that the measurement protocol hits do not tie with the real user's session or any other dimension. And yet, we've followed all the steps to use UID.
First of all, is what we're trying to do possible at all? Can a server sent event be 'inserted' in a user's mobile data ?
And if yes, any advice on where to look first to check our implementation?
