Can a Google Analytics Goal be created from a Doubleclick Floodlight tag?

Floodlight counter tags are in place in GTM to track Button clicks and other website interactions (add to cart, checkout, etc). Is there a way to translate these into a Goal in Google Analytics? Or, do I need to set up new GA tags in GTM for each action/event? Would there be an issue with having 2 tags that both fire on Button click?

Thanks!

Hi, SMG,

I don't believe DC tags can trigger goals, so you would have to create separate events for that. There shouldn't be any issues with firing multiple events with a single click, so go for it! You can create a funnel goal for your checkouts as well, so that you can see abandonments, etc.
