Adding e-commerce data to goals

I have a very specific question.

If i register a goal on day 1, with extra custom dimensions to identify a specific visitor/goal with the offline system, is it then possible to add e-commerce data to this specific visitor on day 2.

The goal is to see revenue and cost per conversion for each source/medium/campaigns.

The sale of a lead can take a couple of days and the revenue is only determined at the sale.

If this is not possible what would be the best alternative?

Hey DigitalFootprint,

You can do this using the measurement protocol.  you'll have to pass not only a unique id (transaction id) etc. but more importantly the client id from the session.  Please note that the transaction and revenue will show up on whichever day you send the update.   So If the lead came in Jan 15 and the revenue is generated and pushed Feb 10th, you'll need to have Feb 10th in the date range to see the revenue.
