grouped report by custom dimension

I have a pretty simple report with one Metric (Screen Views) and one Dimension (App Version):Analytics.jpg

And the resulting report:

 Screen_Views_-_Analytics.jpg

How do I group the chart by the different versions, ideally limiting it to the top 5 values.

Basically, I want to see progress as users start updating to newer versions of my app.

Hey Josh,

You can do this a few ways... one is to do it in a dashboard as the widgets let you directly specify rows... something like this:

https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/template?uid=DmMY5_oFSb6ltXMLTG3b9A

Or you can filter the custom report based upon the versions you want to track.

Or you could create a segment with the versions you want.

Or you can change the row count to 25, copy the url and change this param table.rowCount%3D25/ to table.rowCount%3D5/

and save it as a shortcut.

Have fun!

Best,
