Hi everyone,

I've got a question about the firstclick attribution.

When does the conversion is attributed to 1st click :

  1. at the date when the first touch is done ?
  2. at the date when the conversion is done ?

Thanks for your help,

Alan

If you're referring to the "First Interaction attribution model" then the moment a conversion occurs it will look to attribute the conversion to its original source and ONLY said source.

I'm not exactly sure what else you're asking, can you please clarify your language?

For more information on Analytic's attribution models you should check out the following article: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1662518?hl=en

Let me know if this answers your question!

Hi Joshua,

"When the moment a conversion occurs it will look to attribute the conversion"

To clairify my question if i click first on a SEM non brand ad on week 42, the same week came on site with Shopping ad.

And on Week 43 make a conversion with a display banner.

When does my first click conversion is counted, on week 42 or 43 ?

thanks a lot
