Why do the exit numbers in the funnel visualization report not add up?

Hi guys, basically my question is in this image below:

I realise that there may be a multitude of reasons for that to happen - but if you could specify a few it could help me to get better understanding.

I was just recently introduced to GA due to work purposes and have been flung into this world - so I am trying to understand as much as possible.

Thanks in advance! Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Hi there,

Within the Google Analytics funnel visualization report only the top 5 pages (most often "exit" and four other pages) are shown for each step.

That's why they will most often not add up to 100%.

In the navigation summary report you can develop a more thorough understanding of how people navigate from one page to another.
It is located under Site Content >> All Pages.
I wrote an article about this report that might be of interest to you:

Good luck on your Google Analytics journey!

Best,
